By using FlowState (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of the App

FlowState is a personal, educational demonstration application for macOS. It connects to your own WHOOP account through the official WHOOP API and displays your recovery, strain, sleep, workout, and heart rate data on your Mac. The App is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Your WHOOP Account

  • You must have your own WHOOP membership and device to use the App. You authorize access via WHOOP's OAuth flow and may revoke it at any time.
  • Your use of WHOOP services remains governed by WHOOP's own terms and policies.
  • You are responsible for keeping your device and credentials secure.

4. Not Medical Advice

The App displays fitness and physiological data for informational and educational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never rely on the App for health decisions — consult a qualified health professional.

5. Intellectual Property and Trademarks

FlowState is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WHOOP, Inc. WHOOP is a trademark of WHOOP, Inc. All WHOOP data remains subject to WHOOP's rights and your rights as a WHOOP member.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Data shown may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App.

8. Changes and Termination

We may modify or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We may update these Terms from time to time; the latest version will always be posted on this page.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
