Privacy Policy

The short version

GreenRoom has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your videos, scripts and photos stay on your iPhone. We never receive them.

Only two things ever leave your phone because of the app: purchase and subscription status, which Apple and RevenueCat handle when you buy Pro, and script requests you choose to send with your own OpenAI or Gemini key. Both are explained below.

Who we are

GreenRoom: Teleprompter Studio ("GreenRoom" or "the app") is made by MT Solutions, LLC ("we", "us"). This policy covers the GreenRoom iPhone app. The aibuilders.vip website has its own privacy policy.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. There is no sign-up and no sign-in. The app contains no analytics SDKs and no advertising SDKs, does not track you across other apps or websites, and does not use your device's advertising identifier. We do not sell or share personal information.

Camera and microphone

GreenRoom uses the camera to show your live preview and record your takes, and the microphone to record your voice. The green screen effect uses on-device person segmentation: each frame is processed on your iPhone to separate you from the room behind you. Camera and microphone data are never sent to us or to anyone else.

You can turn camera and microphone access off at any time in iPhone Settings. The app cannot record without them.

Photos

GreenRoom uses your photo library only when you ask it to: to save a take to Photos, or to pick one of your own photos as a background (a Pro feature). A photo you pick is used on your iPhone and is not uploaded.

Your videos, scripts and backgrounds

Takes, scripts, favorites and settings are stored locally in the app on your iPhone. They stay there until you delete them or delete the app. Anything you save to Photos or share through the share sheet (for example to TikTok, Instagram or Files) goes where you send it, under that service's own terms.

If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, app data may be included in that backup, which is handled by Apple or your computer under your own settings.

AI script writer

GreenRoom can write scripts in three ways.

Apple Intelligence. On iPhones that support it, the app uses Apple's on-device model. Your request and the script it writes stay on your iPhone.

Built-in writer. On other iPhones, the app uses its own built-in writer, which runs inside the app on your iPhone.

Your own API key (optional). You can add your own OpenAI or Google Gemini API key. The key is stored in your iPhone Keychain. When you use it, your script request (the topic or instructions you typed, the style you picked, and the current script when you ask for a rewrite) is sent directly from your iPhone to OpenAI or Google under your own account. It does not pass through us, and we cannot see the request or the response. That provider's terms and privacy policy apply: see the OpenAI Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy. You can remove your key from the app at any time.

Purchases and subscriptions

GreenRoom Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through Apple. Apple processes the payment. We never see your name, email address or payment details.

We use RevenueCat, Inc. to check whether you have an active Pro subscription and unlock Pro features. To do that, RevenueCat processes an anonymous app user ID created by the app and your purchase history for GreenRoom (such as which plan you bought, when, and whether it is active). This information is not linked to your name or contact details. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy and the Apple Privacy Policy.

Data retention and deletion

Everything the app stores lives on your iPhone, so you control it. Delete a take or script in the app to remove it, or delete the app to remove all of its local data. Purchase records kept by Apple and RevenueCat follow their own retention policies. If you have a request about your data, email us and we will help.

Security

Your content stays on your device, protected by iOS. If you add your own AI provider key, it is stored in the iPhone Keychain, the system's encrypted store for secrets.

Children

GreenRoom is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not collect personal information from anyone, of any age.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information. Because we do not collect personal information through the app, we usually have nothing to return or delete. You can still contact us with any question or request.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. This version is effective September 27, 2026.
